Human Trafficking Youth Prevention Education (HTYPE) Demonstration Program Funding Opportunity
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office on Trafficking in Persons (OTIP) is seeking applicants for the Human Trafficking Youth Prevention Education (HTYPE) Demonstration Program.
The HTYPE Demonstration Program funds LEAs, with the support of a partnered nonprofit or nongovernmental organization, to establish, expand, and support programs to prevent human trafficking victimization through the provision of skills-based human trafficking training and education for school staff and students. The LEA will also establish and implement a Human Trafficking School Safety Protocol that addresses the safety, security, and well-being of staff and students in a person-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally and linguistically appropriate manner.
