The purpose of this guide is to provide resources for districts and schools in developing policies and procedures to reduce racial and ethnic disproportionality in school discipline. The guide describes and provides examples of key elements for policy and their application in schools. It also provides a process and tool for assessing aspects of policies to enhance equitable discipline.
