This in-depth guide to 33 evidence-based SEL programs — aimed at elementary schools and Out of School Time (OST) providers — offers information about curricular content and programmatic features that practitioners can use to make informed choices about their SEL programs.

This is the updated and expanded version of the original guide (published in 2017). New chapters in the 2021 edition include recommendations for achieving equitable SEL (including common barriers and best practices) and guidance on trauma-informed or trauma-sensitive approaches to SEL, which includes principles, practices and recommendations for integrating SEL into regular practice.
