Bradley Quarles serves as a Technical Assistance provider for the national Center to Improve Social & Emotional Learning and School Safety.
Quarles is a mixed-methods researcher with 15 years of experience designing and directing monitoring and evaluation projects of educational programs with partners that include the U.S. Department of Education, state education agencies, local education agencies, and nonprofit education programs.
His areas of expertise include Charter School Programs grant implementation, state accountability system development and implementation, evaluation design, data quality and processes, school exclusion and school climate, school and family partnerships, school- and place-based initiatives, urban inequality and neighborhood effects, and postsecondary access and completion.
He was previously a Data Analysis Manager and EDFacts Coordinator at DC’s Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE), an Equity Director of Research at K12 Insight, and Research Associate at the American Institutes for Research. Quarles is a PhD candidate in Education Policy Studies at the University of Maryland-College Park.
