Lorelle Wien (she/her) is a Senior Project Manager with the Resilient and Healthy Schools and Communities content area, and the Center to Improve Social & Emotional Learning and School Safety at WestEd. Wien has extensive expertise managing the workflow and relationships of large, complex projects with state and local child- and youth-serving agencies and organizations. One of her current projects is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education, bringing together 20 states and U.S. territories in a learning collaborative focused on transforming kindergarten.
Wien is a contributor to WestEd’s customer relationship management strategy and has significant experience in the design and implementation of knowledge management systems. She also brings experience in marketing, strategic communications, process improvement, web development, and the design of training materials and online courses.
Prior to joining WestEd, Wien spent four years at the Roberts Enterprise Development Fund, where she served as Event Manager and Executive Assistant to the Office of the President. Wien received a BA in American Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz. In 2017, she completed the UC Berkeley Extension Post-Baccalaureate Certificate Program in Marketing. She is a recipient of the Ed Myers Award for Exceptional Contribution to the WestEd Community.
