Promoting teacher SEL benefits the entire school community.  Not only does it support teacher effectiveness and help make the work sustainable for teachers, it also supports student wellbeing, higher achievement, and a healthy school climate and culture. In this interview, listeners will learn about:

• the unique ways that mentoring programs can help develop teacher SEL, strengthen school-based relationships, and support effective instruction
• the importance of teacher SEL (and well-being) to school and classroom culture
