Laura Kassner; REL Appalachia, SRI International

  • View this resource

During this 75 minute workshop at the 2022 Annual Virginia Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development Conference, REL Appalachia staff build K-12 math educators’ understanding of how social-emotional learning (SEL) can be integrated in math instruction. REL Appalachia staff guide participants through the five competencies from the Center for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL) framework and support making connections between the competencies and math tasks. REL Appalachia will share planning tools, examples, and resources to support participants’ continued learning and application.
